Each person is different. Choice of food, pattern, desire ,aversion differs in each individual. The Yogic four pillar helps  to maintain tranquility and harmony in your life. It helps us to maintain balance in physical, mental, emotional & spiritual aspects.

They are known as AVAV.

A- Aahaar

V- Vihaar

A- Achaar

V- Vichaar

1.Aahaar- Means food. Food is source of energy. It is about how much to eat, when to eat ,what to eat ,how to eat, why to eat. Food that gives benefit for your ingestion to excretion process happens in your digestive track. In yogic view,food is not only energy but it helps to stable your mind. All emotions travel from your ‘Nabhi  (umbilicus)Chakra’. You are what you eat.

Three kinds of Aahaar defines in yoga  as Sattvic, Rajasic & Tamsic. Each type has individual feature.

Sattvic brings calmness and balance in body and mind. Rajsic gives aggression and Tamsic makes dull.

2. Vihaar- Means rest, recreation & sleep.

lack of no time to relax, stress causes many problems in life. Relaxation is not about just having good sleep but creating positive thoughts and conscious good habits for mind and body. Relaxation is both physical and mental. Mindful technique shavasana,Dradasana,Makarasana, equal breathing works consciously.

Recreation means walking,having hobby,spending time with family,reading positive motivational stories.

3.Achaar- In sanskrit it means right routines. Right routine and right habits solves all difficulties in life. The first duty is towards self, then towards family and relatives,society etc. Discipline should be important part in life.

4. Vichaar- Thoughts. Our way of thinking impacts on every minutes of life. Human mind is responsible for all type of pain and freedom from pain. Substitute life with positive thoughts, gratitude ,developing faith in yourself etc.
