1. To avoid the blood sugar imbalance : That increases your cardiac risk, eat protein with every meal, even at breakfast. This will help to manage your blood sugar. For that, you can use animal protein if you are a non-veg eater like fish, and chicken & if you are a veg eater then nuts, beans, and tofu.
2. Eat high-fiber food : Ideally at least 50 grams per day. Whole grains, beans, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and fruit all contain good fiber.
3. Combine protein, fat, and carbs in every meal : Never eat carbs alone. Avoid flour and sugar.
4. Avoid junk food : Including soda, and diet drinks which impact lipid and sugar metabolism. These contribute a lot to obesity and diabetes.
5. Increase omega-3 fatty acids : By eating salmon, and flaxseeds.
6. Use healthy oils : Such as cold-pressed olive oil or avocado oil or cold-pressed oils in your routine instead of refined oil.
7. Avoid alcohol : It increases triglyceride levels and fat in the liver which causes blood sugar imbalance.
8. Reduced saturated fat : (Butter, sauce, cake, cheese) and use less saturated fat (Olive, avocado, almonds, pumpkin seeds).
